With over 25 years of experience in cybersecurity, Brian’s leadership has guided multiple global clients and Department of Defense in achieving their security goals. Previously, he was the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for coalition forces in Afghanistan and Chief Information Systems Officer (CISO) for the Department of Army in Northern Iraq and Afghanistan. He re-architected the entire security infrastructure across multiple security domains in Afghanistan.
More recently, he’s applied his experiences helping clients recover from complex large-scale cybersecurity breaches. With over 150 ransomware engagements, he’s leveraged his multiple decades of experience helping them recover with a more secure posture and minimal downtime. His experience in cybersecurity and with DoD networks provides a unique and thorough perspective as CMMC becomes predominant.
His personal mission is to help teams realize their maximum potential, leveraging every technology and his experience. He holds a BS in Cybersecurity from Purdue and holds SANS GCFA, ISACA CISM, and CCP certifications.
